On May 30-31, 2023, Glasswing International hosts its annual virtual mental health conference in collaboration with Catalyst 2030! TRI’s Co-Founder, Director of Innovation, and key developer of TRM and CRM, Elaine Miller-Karas, will be leading a panel discussion titled Working with Trauma: The Community Resiliency Model. Panelists will discuss the characteristics of resilient communities, including social cohesion, adaptive capacity, and resourcefulness, and examine the importance of fostering resilience at the individual, family, and community levels. Panelists include CRM Teachers Sam Habimana (Founder and Executive Director of Rwanda Resilience and Grounding Organization), Dr. Oleksandr Elkin (Founder, EdCamp Ukraine), and Natalia Valevska (EdCamp Ukrainne), as well as David Rosenthal (Area Chair of the Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselor Education programs and Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling at University of Wisconsin-Madison; El Salvador Mental Health Program).

“This year's theme, Reimagining Mental Health, will bring together digital innovators, practitioners in traditional healing, youth leaders, the public sector and individuals with lived experiences from around the world who share a commitment to making mental health a global priority, through improved quality and access.

During this two-day event, we will explore global perspectives and address topics including digital innovations in mental health, traditional healing practices, community resilience, the intersection between climate change and mental health and much more. “
