Dr. Sapp will discuss with Elaine Miller-Karas the first five chapters and he will discuss Chapter 5. Chapter 5 is about the neuroscientific underpinnings of both TRM and CRM with additional updated neuroscience concepts.
March 21 | Jennifer Burton-Flier, LMFT | TRM, Polyvagal Theory, and Attachment Theory
Ms. Burton-Flier will discuss with Elaine Miller-Karas Chapter 12 focusing on the clinical applications of TRM based on attachment strategies applied to adult behavior.
March 28 | Lindy Grabbe, PhD, and Susanne Montgomery, PhD | Research on the Wellness Skills of CRM and TRM
Drs. Grabbe and Montgomery will discuss with Elaine Miller-Karas Chapter 15 which describes the theoretical basis of the research and pertinent research tools identified by the leading researchers of CRM and TRM. In addition, they will discuss the array of research completed showing the methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of the wellness skills of both TRM and CRM.
April 4 | Kim Freeman, PhD, and Susan Reedy, LMFT | CRM/TRM with Children-Development
Dr. Freeman and Ms. Reedy will discuss with Elaine Miller-Karas Chapters 10 and 11. Chapter 10 addresses childhood trauma and developmental considerations. Chapter 11 contains approaches and exercises used with children at different developmental ages. Several programs are highlighted that have integrated CRM into their curricula for children.

with CRM/TRM
Ms. Waterson will discuss with Elaine Miller-Karas Chapter 14 which addresses the application of TRM and CRM to the field of Addiction, including how to integrate CRM into Motivational Interviewing.

Ms. Patel and Elaine Miller-Karas will discuss Chapter 6 that addresses equity, diversity, and inclusion, expressing the values and beliefs of the Trauma Resource Institute.
April 25 | Jennifer Wallace and Jan Click, LCSW | CRM with Law Enforcement, Veterans, and Active Duty Service Members
Ms. Wallace and Ms. Click will discuss Chapters 9 and 13 with Elaine Miller-Karas. Chapter 9 demonstrates how one state's police commission transformed sexual assault interviews by incorporating a trauma- and resiliency-informed lens in order to not retraumatize victims, guided by CRM. Chapter 13 describes how to use TRM and CRM in working with veterans and active-duty service members.
May 2 | Beverly Buckles, PhD. | CRM in Disasters: International and Domestic
Dr. Buckles contributed to Chapter 15 and has also been instrumental in bringing CRM to the international community. She will discuss her early vision for CRM and TRM and how she has historically and presently contributed to building the evidence of both models.
